He has had lengthy clinical and scientific training in the diagnosis and comprehensive management of serious diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, hypercholesterolemia, obesity, and a variety of other chronic health conditions.

In addition to managing many complex medical illnesses,  Dr Liberoni not only can serve as you and your family’s primary care physician but can provide Specialized Care that only an Internist can do. Dr. Liberoni will help you understand the importance of preventive medicine in regards to your overall health and wellbeing. Preventive medicine refers to measures taken to prevent diseases, rather than curing them or treating their symptoms.

 

Additionally Internal Medicine Physicians strive for Secondary tertiary disease prevention. Secondary prevention activities are aimed at early disease detection, thereby increasing opportunities for intervention to prevent progression of the disease and emergence of symptoms. Tertiary prevention reduces the negative impact of an already established disease by restoring function and reducing disease related complications.
