Juliane Zapalac
Mrs. Juliane Zapalac is a locally grown and locally practicing physician assistant with more than 10 years of experience in family medicine/internal medicine serving Bay City and surrounding areas. She strongly advocates patient education and responsibility, and firmly believes every patient should be treated like family.

Her roots begin in Markham, Texas and are still planted in this community and school district. She is a proud 2001 graduate and valedictorian of Tidehaven High School, who then furthered her education at Sam Houston State University, graduating summa cum laude with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology in 2005.
After graduating summa cum laude and returning to her roots to provide healthcare to her beloved community, Juliane married in 2009 the only person to drive her crazy, both figuratively and literally, from 1st grade at Markham Elementary through both, Tidehaven High and Sam Houston State, Mr. Aaron Garcia. In 2015, they were blessed with rambunctious twin boys, Zane and Zander, and have since unsuccessfully tried to catch up on rest.

Aside from her 2 full time jobs of Mom and PA, Juliane enjoys attending Tidehaven and Sam Houston sporting events, rocking out at concerts, participating in Tough Mudders, reeling in reds, and of course playing superheroes.
